Sanctuary Asheville

Located on a unique 16.7 acre site, the development provides an important transition between Montford Historic District, an urban forest with an existing stream, and downtown Asheville. Much like its name implies, Sanctuary is envisioned as an organic urban village project that places emphasis on mountain views, connection to the forest, and integrating water and other natural features. This 377 unit mixed-use community provides a combination of market rate, condominium, and affordable housing, a grocer, office space, retail space, and a restaurant. The architectural theme is a distinctive mountain modern aesthetic that includes a mix of natural materials and architectural details responsive to our beautiful region. CCA is collaborating with Barker Barrios Architecture on this exciting project.
