Coca Cola Building Rehabilitation

Client: AYD Partners, Inc.
Location: Hendersonville, NC

Located in the historic 7th Avenue district of downtown Hendersonville, this important rehabilitation project is set within the Historic Coca-Cola Building. Originally constructed in the 1920s and expanded in the 1950s, the warehouse-like brick, timber, and concrete structure housed Coca-Cola’s bottling operation in the Hendersonville area. The rehabilitation includes the upfit of 15 apartments, the restoration of the Locust Street facade (previously bricked up), and new complementary windows to match the steel sash units of days gone by. The design of the project interiors will remain simple and allows the original brick walls and exposed structure to take precedence.

The program for this 17,500-square-foot building includes a mix of studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom apartments, tenant storage, a street-level café, and a rooftop amenity area for residents.
